pub enum IndexKind {
None,
BTree,
BTreeDescending,
LoweredPrefix,
}Expand description
How a column is indexed.
Variants§
None
Not indexed; filtered on the row its indexed sibling finds.
BTree
Plain B-tree for equality and range comparisons.
BTreeDescending
B-tree stored DESC NULLS LAST, so a descending sort can stop at the
page size. (A plain B-tree read backwards is DESC NULLS FIRST.)
LoweredPrefix
B-tree over string_prefix_expr with text_pattern_ops, for
case-insensitive prefix matches, plus a trigram GIN over
LOWER(column) for :contains.
